Free Shipping

We offer free delivery on orders over R500 to customers within South Africa, weighing less
than 15kg.
If you live in Gauteng, then delivery for you is always free. Should you not automatically
qualify for free shipping, then just use the code LOCAL on check out (ensure you are logged
into your account) and your delivery fee will be cancelled.
Major city centres will qualify for door-to-door courier. For outlying areas, your parcel will
be sent via Post Office / PostNet Counter to Counter. Should you like to confirm if your area
is serviced by our courier, please contact us on info@coolpet.co.za.
If you live in an outlying area and opt for Courier Door to Door, there will be an additional
courier charge which will be dependent on your area and size/weight of your parcel. To
check on this cost prior to placing your order, please contact us on info@coolpet.co.za
Parcels over 15kg = for every additional 15kg, we charge an “overweight” fee of R50, up to a
maximum order size of 200kg.

Coupons

Coupons cannot be used against shipping fees. Orders paid for with coupons DO NOT
qualify for free shipping, and overweight fees and outlying fees still apply as per usual.
General Delivery Information
If you do not qualify for free delivery, you will be charged a flat rate fee of R150 for
delivery.
Door-to-door typically arrives within 24 to 48 hours if you are within Gauteng and 48 – 72
hours if you are based in other major South African city centres – this is from the time that
your parcel is dispatched from our office. All orders are dispatched as soon stock is available
from suppliers, should we not be holding the exact product you ordered in stock.
Our courier service provider delivers during office hours Monday to Friday. Orders may be
delivered in more than one carton, from different senders, depending on logistics and timing,
but generally, all items are shipped together in one parcel. While the couriers in most cases
deliver within the specified time – these cannot be guaranteed. Cool Pet cannot be held liable
for delays in delivery times.

Delivery Address

If your order is being delivered via courier door-to-door, you must provide a DAYTIME
physical address for delivery as well as a contact telephone number.
Courier companies cannot guarantee specific times for deliveries. Should you have specific
requirements – ie before 12 pm on a Wednesday this should be included in the comment
block when placing your order. Or if the order can be left with a neighbour – please let us
know.
If the courier has attempted to deliver the parcel twice and has been unable to do so due
to the residence/business being closed or vacant, you will be charged a re-delivery fee
of R150.
We only ship to Post Office postal box address or Postnet Counters. We do not make use of
the Post Office to deliver to physical addresses. We only ship parcels to addresses within our
South African borders.

Timing

We aim to ship all orders within 2 – 7 working days – this depends on the items in your cart.
You will receive continuous updates on your order by logging into your account, however
, we will also send you updates via email. Note that we work on best information available
from our suppliers and service delivery partners, and are best estimates. We are dependent on
fast turnaround times from both our suppliers and courier firms.
If the item purchased is no longer available due to being out of stock or recently discontinued
etc., you will be notified immediately and will have the option to swop the item for another,
given a credit note or full refund.
Once the order has been dispatched from Cool Pet and there is a delay in the expected
delivery time due to the courier company, we will assist you as much as possible in liaising
with the courier company, however the responsibility is on you to track and follow up on the
status of your delivery with the relevant delivery company once tracking details have been
supplied.

If you prefer to use your own courier to collect from us send us an email to
info@coolpet.co.za to make these arrangements. After hours and weekend collections can
also be arranged in special circumstances.
